Tape Assembly Machine
Automated Sequences
This machine is used in an assembly line to assemble measuring tapes. The machine is controlled by a PLC utilizing servo-driven axes, pneumatic cylinders, proximity sensors, pitch-catch laser sensors, HMI, and integrates a Branson ultrasonic welder.
We incorporated material handling requirements for the components of the Tape in the structure of the machine.
Safety features: Light Curtain, Banner safety finger switch.
